Day, Garrison combine for 5-inning Hector no-hitter

The  Hector Wildcats two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Hector defeated the Johnson County Westside Rebels 10-0 on Tuesday.

Gunner Garrison struck out Derek Brown to get the last out of the game.

The Wildcats scored six runs in the second inning led by a walk by Wade Farish, a single by GarriaProfitt.

Cody Day was the winning pitcher. He went two innings, allowed zero runs on zero hits and struck out five. Garrison threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kyler Stumbaugh took the loss for Johnson County Westside. He lasted four innings, allowing six hits and 10 runs while striking out seven.
