Today 4th grade participated in their first ever bi-annual reward auction. Each of the students have been working hard to accumulate "money" in their individual accounts in order to bid on items. The students get paid based on how they treat their teachers and classmates, on their hallway behavior, and on their grades.
Richard Pierce, of Farm Bureau Insurance, graciously volunteered his auctioneering skills to add fun and excitement to their experience. All of the students were able to “buy” something they wanted with the help of monetary donations from students, parents, teachers, and our PTO. A special thanks to Judy Garrigus, Coach Chris Taylor, Josie Taylor, and Brittany Vincent for donating items and time to make the auction a success.
4th grade has already started planning for their end-of-the-year auction in May. Please encourage our 4th graders to keep up the good work as they now see the benefits of doing their best all the time!
