Important Calendar Change for the 2024-2025 School Year
We are pleased to announce that the graduation date for the Hector Class of 2025 has been rescheduled. The new date and time are as follows:

Last chance to purchase a yearbook! Yearbook orders close on Friday, May 17th. There will only be a limited number of extra yearbooks and they will be $50.
Remember, we are a summer production yearbook; that means our yearbook is distributed the first week of school in August for the previous school year!

Congratulations to HHS FBLA members Amberlee Long and Julia Clyatt for placing in the top 4 events in state FBLA competition! They will now compete in FBLA Nationals in Orlando in June.
Tomorrow is the last day to get Cheer Tryout Forms in. Tryouts start next week!
Graduating Seniors need to be in the New Gym tomorrow by 10:00am. Please make sure that they have their cap and gown with them for our traditional cap/gown walkthrough immediately following graduation practice. Lunch will be provided after.

School choice deadline is May 1, 2024!
ARCare is offering FREE sports physicals for current 6th-11th grade students planning on playing school sports next year. All school athletes are required to have a physical. These physicals will take place at school on April 17th. You must fill this form out beforehand for your child to participate in the free physical. We held our annual Multiplication Bees this week. The winners of the third and fourth grade bee were: Knox Gray (first place), Knoxx Stanek (second place), and Linley Killins (third place). The winners of the fifth and sixth grade bee were: Alvie Chisum (first place), Harper McAlister (second place), and Maddix Barton (third place). Congratulations to all the contestants, especially those pictured below. Way to go, Wildcats!
Hector Scholarship Foundation scholarship applications are due on April 9th. No scholarships will be awarded until after that time. We believe a scammer has contacted students in regards to being awarded the scholarship. The HSF will not contact you via text!
Parent teacher conferences has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd.
We will be having our 8th Grade Parent Night on April 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
This meeting will take place during parent-teacher conferences in Mr. Reid's Room. We will discuss the transition to high school and answer any questions you may have concerning the upcoming school year.

Due to the forecast of severe weather conditions, we have made the decision to cancel the scheduled parent-teacher conferences for tonight March 14th.
The safety and well-being of our students, parents, and staff are our utmost priority, and given the potential risks associated with the severe weather, it is in the best interest of everyone involved to postpone these conferences.
We understand the importance of these conferences . We are committed to rescheduling at the earliest possible date. We will keep you informed about the new dates as soon as they are finalized.
